1. Introduction

Welcome to DioxiBook ("the Platform"), a social network operated by COMUSAV Association ("COMUSAV", "we", "us", "our"), a legally constituted association based in Mexico, dedicated to the promotion of health, scientific truth, and freedom of information.

By accessing or using DioxiBook (dioxibook.com), you ("the User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. About COMUSAV

COMUSAV (Coalición Mundial por la Salud y la Vida / World Coalition for Health and Life) is an international medical-scientific association comprising over 5,000 affiliated healthcare professionals worldwide. Our mission is the defense of health, medical truth, and the right to free scientific information.

3. Acceptance of Terms

Use of the Platform constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to registered users. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all registration information you submit is truthful and accurate.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, particularly in cases of violation of these Terms or abusive conduct.

6. User-Generated Content

The Platform allows users to post text, images, links, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by posting it on the Platform, you grant COMUSAV a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store such content in connection with the operation of the Platform.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights to the User Content you post.
  • Your User Content does not violate the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
  • Your User Content complies with applicable laws and regulations.

7. Disclaimer of Liability for User Content

COMUSAV does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any User Content posted on the Platform. All User Content expresses solely the views and opinions of its respective author, not those of COMUSAV, its directors, officers, or affiliated members.

COMUSAV shall not be held liable, directly or indirectly, for:

  • Any User Content that is inaccurate, offensive, illegal, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Any damages or losses resulting from the use of or reliance on User Content.
  • Any interactions, disputes, or transactions between users.

COMUSAV acts solely as a platform provider and, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, disclaims all liability arising from User Content or user conduct on the Platform.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users are prohibited from:

  • Posting content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory.
  • Violating the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting affiliation with any person or entity.
  • Using the Platform for spam, unauthorized advertising, or commercial solicitation.
  • Uploading malware, viruses, or any malicious code.
  • Data scraping, automated account creation, or any activity that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
  • Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

9. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, source code, databases, logos, and trademarks (excluding User Content), is the exclusive property of COMUSAV or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No part of the Platform may be reproduced, distributed, or used without our express written permission.

10. Medical Disclaimer

The Platform is a social network for discussion and information exchange. Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any health-related information shared on the Platform should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition or treatment.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services not owned or controlled by COMUSAV. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that COMUSAV shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of third-party content or services.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, COMUSAV, its directors, officers, employees, members, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
  • Damages resulting from interruption, modification, or discontinuation of the Platform.
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers or personal information.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless COMUSAV, its directors, officers, members, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limitations — shall survive.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States (Mexico), without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mexico.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
